About the project
Steven T.J. Steel first approached us about editing Captain’s Deck: Everyday Management Ideas to Steer Your Business in October 2021. We went through a round of line editing with him, then did the cover design and converted it into an ebook. We distributed it via our online distributors and also did a Marketing Stage 1 Action Plan for Steven to help him hone his marketing campaign.
About the book
Captain’s Deck Everyday Management Ideas to Steer Your Business focuses on commanding the ship – the business you work for – from the captain’s deck rather than the engine room. While a manager needs to spend time in both areas, most people new to business management have no understanding of how to do it and struggle to develop appropriate strategies in their new roles.
When on the captain’s deck, you need to have a broad view of what is going on and what sits on the horizon. This is the challenge for the everyday manager, and if you struggle with this, look no further. Captain’s Deck Everyday Management Ideas to Steer Your Business will give you strategies that help identify problem areas and tips on how to overcome them, all designed to make you the captain of your ship and inspire your employees to give their all to keep the ship on course. This will help you develop quality management ideas that will take your business to new heights.
