About the project
Philip Kirby first approached us in 2020, asking for help with the conversion of his book, The 3 Gears that Drive You. We took his existing cover design and converted the interior of the manuscript into an ebook. We then distributed it via our online distributors.
About the book
Philip has coached more than 2,000 people.
If you'd like to move your career, shape your team, or transform your culture at work, this book will give you hundreds of practical tips and powerful techniques to do just that.
In The 3 Gears that Drive You, you will quickly identify your own career blockers and get practical ideas on how to get moving again. You'll see what has been driving your career so far and get a rapid restore plan for getting to the next level.
You'll also see how to influence a team whether you are the official leader or not. Having coached many people through mid-career barriers, Philip has identified the most common myths and habits to avoid, then he walks you through how to positively impact others at work, and how to not get overworked or mistreated by dominant people.
While you read this book you will take in dozens of ways to impact the way others work and create a positive engaging culture for everyone. Once you know what sort of work culture you have, you can quickly see how that culture is already affecting you and your career. You'll get practical strategies to actually make a difference so that you shape the culture and it doesn't shape you.
You will also work out how to manage office politics and even channel office politics to increase productivity. You’ll see the liberating effect of the “Lead Right Now” approach and harness the idealism you already have.
Reading this book is like having your own personal coach!
