About the project
We had worked with Peter Cramb on a few of his other titles before he sent us Washed Up in September 2021. We did the cover design and print design of the interior of the book. It was then printed via our print-on-demand service. The book was then converted into an ebook and distributed via our online distributors.

About the book

Getting washed up on an island can be a stressful experience. The immediate aftermath can be challenging. But to Henry’s dismay, his ship has gone down and he finds himself dealing with this situation.

Among the island’s inhabitants is Nelly Dean. She is a lady of whom Henry has been fond since the long-ago nights when his aunt used to read her story to him. All of the others are strangers to Henry. These include six young ladies who disappear under mysterious circumstances.

It can be argued that Henry is not ideally suited for life on the island. His skill range is limited, his knowledge of books less extensive than perhaps one might wish. But is there a chance he can defy all the odds? Can it be true that truth can be stranger than fiction?

In the tradition of Wuthering Heights and maybe a few other books, Washed Up is a mesmerising tale that reveals the twin timeless truths: no man is an island and it is best to steer clear of potassium cyanide.
