About the project
We had worked with Regina on her first book, Conversations on a Train, and she approached us in November 2018 about her second book, Conversations in a Park. We proofread it for her, then created the print layout using an existing cover design. With the print edition completed, we distributed it via print-on-demand. We also did the ebook conversion and aggregated it on our regular vendors.

About the book
Conversations in a Park is a light-hearted book of motivational musings peppered with research and wisdom from the worlds of psychology, philosophy and classic literature. Dr Regina Ryan argues that the chaos that accompanies motherhood should be countered by creating 'stolen moments' throughout the day and using these with discipline and consistency to connect to your inner self through solitude, daily rituals, expressing creativity and learning how to condition yourself to choose one thought over another. The main philosophy is to think small and in time, you will find that the big has been hiding in the small all along.

About the Author
Dr Regina Ryan (MPsych, PhD) is interested in the female psyche as it transitions from young adulthood to motherhood. She offers advice on how to maintain a sense of self and nurture all leading and supporting roles in our lives while still being a selfless mother.
